Works 4U launches to businesses in style!

Works 4U (The Social Enterprise arm of the Hammersmith and Fulham Volunteer Centre) officially launched on Wednesday, October 14th at the prestigious Novotel London West Hotel. The event was sponsored by the Ealing and Hammersmith Chamber of Commerce, who invited a number of their registered businesses to network and find out more about Works 4U and its services.

Over 60 people from local companies attended the event, aimed at providing a platform to network and make new business links. Marion Schumann, Director of Works 4U, was given an opportunity to speak to the audience and passionately inform them about the importance of businesses engaging with their local community, and the services on offer through Works 4U.

Doreen Grant-Oppan, Works 4U Head of Business Development, felt that the event was a great success. ‘Partnering up with the Chamber of Commerce gave us a fantastic platform to reach out to new businesses and tell them about Works 4U. Even before we launched we were already receiving a lot of interest from companies about our services, but the launch has officially put Works 4U ‘on the map’!’

Works 4U will continue its strong relationship with the Chamber of Commerce and future partnership events are in the pipeline.

A second launch will be held at the Novotel Hotel in December and is aimed at the Voluntary and Community Sector, who will be the main beneficiaries of Works 4U services.
