Well, having just written for the annual report and sourced the figures for the year, we have identified that approximately 750 individuals working in the voluntary sector have been influenced by their organisation’s participation in our training, seminars and one-one involvement in quality standards. Looking at the total figures it shows that we have involved over 62 organisations in quality standards in the past 12 months. Those organisations that have taken on the baton and are prioritising PQASSO to achieve the kite mark of quality have been very active, meeting every month to move forward, identifying some difficult areas that need reviewing and then changing, developing policies for their organisations, and generally raising the morale of staff with their involvement, and not least of all, working towards being more likely to receive funding as they show evidence of the quality and effectiveness of their organisation. To show their commitment, four organisations will be ready for assessment by January 2012.
