The Hammersmith & Fulham Volunteer Centre
is one of the largest Volunteer Centres in London helping local socially isolated, disadvantaged and vulnerable people. We have proven that volunteering is an essential gateway to opportunities, such as employment, training, enterprise and education.
Although we gratefully receive a small amount of financial support from the local authority, we need more funds to help us deliver essential and innovative projects that help local people with disabilities, mental health issues, lone parents, elderly, vulnerable, socially isolated and disadvantaged.
We are a registered charity that has been helping Hammersmith & Fulham residents for over 20 years and we encourage you to donate to help us to continue the work we do support local people. For example £5 will cover the travel expenses for one of our volunteer advisors to interview and match individuals with volunteering placements. £20 would pay for an unemployed person to undertake a half hour training course.
