With 1 in 4 people experiencing some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year, understanding mental health is vital.
Understanding mental health is also vital to ensuring your organisation’s compliance with Equalities legislation.
Mr Jones’ GP advised that he would need to avoid stress at work following a stroke. His employer felt that no role would be stress-free and dismissed Mr Jones for incapacity. In 2011 Mr Jones was awarded nearly £400,000 for disability discrimination and unfair dismissal.
