Access to Volunteering Grant
In December the HFVC applied to “Access to Volunteering” for a Grant of £2,000 to help people with disabilities to be able to volunteer. The grant is to purchase specialist equipment which meets the needs of the volunteer.

Christmas Gift Drive
In spite of the credit crunch still affecting many businesses, and the amount of charitable giving supposedly on the decrease, HFVC had a very successful Christmas Present Appeal!

Disney spreads Christmas cheer
Volunteers from Disney had a busy Christmas period in Hammersmith and Fulham, having participated in 4 Christmas parties and donating boxes of gifts to our annual Christmas Gifts Drive.

On Wednesday, December 17th, employees from United Biscuits, led by team leader Visda Scott, delighted 80 service users from Cricklewood Homeless Concern with a lavish Christmas lunch and celebrations.
