This is a creative and dynamic volunteering opportunity to support people with mental health problems during their
recovery, to access social and vocational opportunities in the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. You will be required to use your experiences to positively support people in overcoming personal barriers to achieve their goals. In return, you will receive mental health awareness training, motivational development training, further employment opportunities learning how to bring the best out of supporting people with mental health problems; the age criteria that you will be supporting is: 18+. If you think that you have the natural passion to help people in achieving positive outcomes, then we are looking for you.

We ask for a commitment of 1hr per week for a year, although your placement may only last 3 months. We pay expenses for you and your befriendee to carry out activities when you meet up. You will be nominated for a voluntary award and gain references. You could also gain support in accessing work, and your creative talents will be promoted within Hammersmith & Fulham Mind and the local community.
