The HFVC Group is a volunteering and employability organisation helping the socially isolated, disadvantaged and vulnerable in our local communities. Our 3 main areas of delivery are:

Our group consists of three organisations: Hammersmith & Fulham Volunteer Centre, Brent Active Citizens and Works4U, which work together across West London to change people’s lives through our volunteering and employment programmes.




Founded in 1986, HFVC is one of the largest and most successful Volunteer Centre in London, delivering a broad range of volunteering-related projects helping local residents in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. Part of its success has been from using volunteering to help socially disadvantaged and isolated people, giving them the confidence, skills and connections to achieve their goals.



BAC is the leading volunteering organisation in the London Borough of Brent and for 10 years has been providing a wide range of volunteering projects for local residents, from mentoring to starting a business. It is a volunteering agency whose function is to promote, support and develop volunteering, and provide assistance through information, advice, guidance and training to get people into work and or education.



Works4U is a not-for-profit social enterprise whose social mission is to help businesses work in the community through a range of volunteering related activities such as team volunteering ‘Community Challenges’, Skills-based Volunteering and Online/Micro Volunteering. Founded in 2009, Works4U helps SMEs as well as large corporates such as Disney, L’Oreal, General Electric (GE), Pernod Ricard, Starbucks etc. to engage with the local community to meet their Corporate Social Responsibility objectives so that the community, the business and its employees benefit.
